Educational and Non-Profit Use
- Schools and Institutions: STEMFIE® is perfect for educational purposes. Schools, libraries, and similar organizations can freely download and 3D-print as many STEMFIE® parts and projects as needed. This allows you to create an educational construction toy set locally without any licensing fees.
Commercial Use
- Individual and Community-Based Sales: Individuals, hobbyists, and community organizations (e.g., schools, libraries, retirement homes, FabLabs, maker spaces) are encouraged to use STEMFIE® commercially. You may produce and sell STEMFIE® parts or your own creations inspired by STEMFIE® to sustain your 3D printing activities and support your community. If you want to give back, consider contributing to the STEMFIE® Project.
- Mass Production by Manufacturers:
- Manufacturers interested in mass-producing STEMFIE® toys for profit are required to obtain permission and pay a licensing fee to use the STEMFIE® brand. This fee will be proportionate to sales and ensures the continued development and support of the STEMFIE® Project.
